Requirements
This scholarship is applicable to graduating Senior High School Students with Highest Honors/May Pinakamataas na Karangalan with no grades lower than 90% in all subjects from 1st to 4th quarters, and an overall General Weighted Average (GWA) of 97% and above.
- Complete basic Admissions Requirements
- Certificate of Overall Academic Recognition signed by the principal indicating the academic award received
- Proof of Family Income (Income Tax Return) / Certificate of Indigency
- Two (2) recommendation letters from your current school administrators or teachers, addressed to the NU Campus Head, Dr. Arlene O. Trillanes, and the Admissions Office
- Photocopy of a valid ID from each of the recommenders with their affixed signatures
- Proof of Family Income: Certificate of Indigency from the barangay (for parents without source of income), OR Latest Tax Exemption Certificate or Income Tax Return (ITR) for both parents showing a combined annual income of Php360,000 or less

Note:
Gold scholars are still subject to an interview to qualify for other benefits. This can be availed for 4years/5years (depending on the degree program) provided that the student complies with the retention requirements. The discount is applicable for the term of entry only.
